Nigerian dance styles

Musical instruments(Study Skill)

Students should be able to play some technical exercises on their musical instruments.

Ensemble

Students should be able to play their various musical instruments.
form duets, trios, quartet etc. to encourage group performance.
improvise on their instruments as they accompany songs and dances

Listening and appreciation

The students . should be able to develop attentive listening.

Music Dictation

Students should be able to . hear and write down an 8- bar melody played by the teacher.

Students should be able-to name the transposing instruments like trumpet, saxophone etc .

Nigerian and Western dance styles

Sight reading/playing
